On the southwest side of the castle of Koroni is the stone church of Panagia tis Eleestra/Eleestria which celebrates on January 22 (Zoodochos Pigis) the day on which the icon of Panagia was also found according to tradition. The temple was built in 1900. Nowadays it is a point of reference for the religious ceremonies of Koroni. The temple is located in a grove with beautifully landscaped surroundings.
The view from the point is very beautiful, the visitor sees in front of him the open sea and the long beach of Zaga
